Foundation 1010 was started by Leslie Maginn and Brooke Vanhavermaat, who recognized the challenges faced by first responders and their families through their own familial connections and relationships. Through our programs and services, we aim to support first responders' physical and mental health, work environments, and communities by supporting existing resources and programs.Our goals include mobilizing and engaging the community in supporting first responders by raising awareness of the challenges they face and facilitating opportunities for first responders to interact withcommunity members. We also aim to honor those we've lost, raise funds for first responders and theirfamilies in hardship, and provide value and education to first responders so they feel supported
Who we are supporting at our June event:
First H.E.L.P. reduces mental health stigma for first responders through education and awareness and assists first responders in their search for healing. We acknowledge the service and sacrifice of first responders lost to suicide and care for their families in the aftermath of a suicide loss. This money will fund families to attend family honor weekend and kids grief camp in August.
CPFFF: The mission of the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation is to provide aid and support to Colorado fire fighters, their families, and dependents who are victims of tragedy. (If there is a specific use for this money that will be donated to CPFF you could add that?!)
Our silent auction has :
